Jesus Died On That Cross To Allow For All Mankind To Be In Line For Forgiveness Of Our Sins!
Ephesians 1:7-8 (NIV)
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
Jesus was a real man that once lived on this earth! Few people doubt this fact of history and if they do, please take pity on them, and do not bother trying to convince them. However, there are more people on this earth today who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior of this cursed world, the only true Savior offered by the one God who created this universe from nothing. More people in this world today believe that this universe evolved from nothing without any plan or design, it came into being by random chance processes. Now that really requires a super faith in indescribable luck, and it requires them to totally ignore all the natural laws!
Many people observed a total eclipse of the sun this week, which should convince them of the exact size and distance requirements of the moon and the sun. Did this happen by pure luck and did the exact movement of this star and moon become so exact that mankind can calculate when the next eclipse will occur again? Still there are those who believe this all happened and continues forever without any control from a superpower of some source, it just happened without any design or continuing control. To me it absolutely proves there is the God who created everything we see, and Jesus Christ still controls it all, just as the Bible tells us! What do you believe?
Now let us talk about the real unknown power of Jesus Christ and His coming into this cursed world to offer salvation to everyone who can simply believe the He is who He says He is! Now that is so much more amazing than the movement of stars and planets. This offer is being made to all of mankind, BUT most of them do not believe it, because it is too simple. God even gave us a book that describes this wonderful plan, it is The Holy Bible, have YOU taken time to read it? Some reading this now have studied for years and read many books so they can obtain a good living and have many earthly possessions. All such things are temporary, but believing in Jesus Christ offers eternal riches for you, and a room will be created for you in heaven by Jesus Christ Himself! Now that is truly the most amazing offer I have ever heard.
Paul wrote about this amazing gift, and how becoming born again improved his life. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20). When you become born again you joined the saints of Jesus. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
The timing of Jesus coming into this world as the Son of Man was the perfect time! You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:6-8). Jesus’ entry into this world was correct because He is in control of this universe, as He created it and sustains it too. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus died on that cross to allow for all mankind to be in line for forgiveness of our sins! “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24).
Everyone born into this cursed world inherits a sinful nature from that original sin committed in the Garden of Eden, thus in God’s sight we are enemies of God, as He cannot live with evil spirits, which our sinful nature appears as evil to God. Paul wrote about this to the church in Rome and to us. For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! (Romans 5:10). God sent Jesus Christ into this world to supply a Way for all of mankind to appear to God as holy, if they accept their salvation by believing in the Son of Man as their offer of salvation.
Just after the disciples ask Jesus to teach them how to pray to God the Father, as Jesus did, so Jesus taught them the Lord’s Prayer. Then Jesus explained what they should expect after they pray this new prayer. Jesus said, "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Luke 11:9-10). When you pray it is like knocking on heaven’s door! “For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Jesus then told them to expect God to hear our prayer even though our mortal body is still considered to be evil, God will allow the Holy Spirit to give the born again saints guidance in this mortal world. "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" (Luke 11:11-13). Therefore, God will still give you blessings through the Holy Spirit during this mortal lifetime.
The celebration of Easter is over, but the salvation offer continues for all the saints! Be happy in Jesus, just trust and obey!
