Jesus Has Prepared A Place For You In Heaven, And He Will Come Back To Take To Where He Already Is!
Galatians 6:8 (NIV)
The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Is Jesus Christ the Savior of this cursed world? If He is, is He the only once human being/God Man, that God the Father sent into this world as it’s Savior? Are there some people living in this world that God, or gods will send to heaven when they die, because they receive special handling from God the Father? I do NOT believe there are ANY exceptions made by God the Father who is in heaven! What do you believe? This MAY be the most important question you will ever be asked in your lifetime in this mortal world.
When Thomas asked Jesus how he and the rest of Jesus’ followers will know the way to go to be where Jesus Christ was going to go when He left this earth through His resurrection from the dead. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." (John 14:6-7). Jesus believed that His perfect sacrifice is the absolute requirement necessary to allow only His followers to go to heaven when He said, “No-one comes to the Father except through me.”
This is the new covenant declared by Jesus that He is the Savior of this world, and starting from the time He entered this world the new salvation plan was established, and the ONLY requirement for salvation is obtained through believing that Jesus Christ is the Savior of this world. Before Jesus coming into this world people were saved through doing the sacrifices God the Father told them to do. Jesus perfect sacrifice replaced any such earthly sacrifices to gain salvation of our immortal souls when we die in this cursed mortal world!
Some people will tell you that Jesus never claimed to be God when He walked this earth, but that is not true, and here is one place where Jesus made such a claim, when He said, “If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." Jesus is saying here that He is the Son of God and that His thoughts are in accord with those of God, as God is one with Jesus. Then Jesus is saying that when people saw Him, they were also seeing the Father, as Jesus is part of the Triune God, even while He still walked this earth as the Son of Man!
Jesus’ earthly half-brother James wrote about asking for a blessing from God to get earthly wisdom and that God will be generous and will honor your request in a positive way. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5). Jesus also taught that we should pray for feeling free to ask for a peaceful countenance in this world through a connection with heaven. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8).
Remember we have all inherited a sinful nature from the first or original sin, and we need to be aware of it and avoid allowing our sinful nature to guide our lives. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8). Our immortal soul will guide us on the narrow path that leads to heaven if we tap into the Holy Spirit that Jesus left behind for us.
Paul taught and wrote about thinking good thoughts that would help us stay connected to that good Spirit and to be happy in Jesus! Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. (Philippians 4:8). We are to love our self as a child of God, but we must be careful not to become too proud and thus not feel the need of the Spirit to help us to plan to seek opportunities to serve.
In this world and especially in this land of opportunity we are taught to seek the good life, which is often going to push us toward amassing stuff and becoming rich. Paul wrote to Timothy and us, to be careful about developing a love of money. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:10-12).
True happiness in this world will not come from being wealthy, but of course, having good things in this world will make everyday life much more bearable! Paul warns Timothy and us about having too much dependance on our worldly wealth. Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
Are you laying up that good foundation in this life by being willing to share what God has blessed you with in your lifetime? Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (James 4:10). Remember, to be happy in Jesus during this mortal lifetime, knowing that this is not the ultimate blessing that Jesus has planned for you.
