If You Believe Then It Is Very Important That You Spend Time With Other Believers, As Jesus Did When He Walked This Earth As A Man!
Job 19:25-27 (NIV)
I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!
The knowledge of there being more to this life has been known for thousands of years. We get to read about the thoughts of people who were believers even before God sent His Son into this world. In the selected verses Job expresses his knowledge of God, when Job says, “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.” Note here Job is believing like we now do that Jesus/Redeemer will in some future time, stand upon the earth. Then after his body has been destroyed, “yet in my flesh I will see God!” Again, as we now believe, we will receive a new immortal body. The body we will live in, when we live on the new earth, AKA heaven!
Paul elaborates on how God supplies a body that exists in this cursed world, using a reference to seeds, first dying, and then developing a new body, based on the type of seed that was planted. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body. (1 Corinthians 15:37-38). It is the same with animals and mankind, as they can only reproduce when seeded by the same kind of being.
In Psalm 139 we read the idea of how each human being is given life by God, and of course, is delivered into this world as a human being through a woman. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:13-16).
All living creatures are given life by God and then they are born into this mortal cursed world by the same kind of creature. Just as the bible tells us every creature is reproduced through the same kind of being. So, observational science supports the creation of life account, and it indicates that the evolutionary theory is wrong, and thus not even possible! As no animal, or plant, or human being can reproduce a different kind of being.
Now if you can accept this information, we are left with the fact that a new human being can only be produced by the sperm and egg(s) of another human being. No human being can give birth to an animal, and no animal can give birth to a human being. And nothing is evolving, actually, everything is devolving. Every living thing on this earth is destined to die when the life God granted it is taken away by God!
Now for the Good News! According to our Bible we are all sinners and thus destined to go to hell when we die! Okay, that is the Bad News! This is the Good News! For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17). God/Jesus created a perfect world in essence He created heaven on this earth, and yes, this included the cosmos. However, your ancestors, human beings named Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God’s first command. Since God loved what He originally created He is going to recreate the new perfect world in the future, and all those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ in this cursed world, will someday live in this new world or heaven.
Now back to today, it is important that if you believe Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, then you need to tell everyone who does not believe Jesus is who He says He is this simple story. If they believe you, they will end up in heaven instead of going to hell! The writer of Hebrews tells us something about faith. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6).
If you have come to believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, then you can quit worrying about this life, as it does NOT end when you die! It is like getting promoted when you die into heaven when it is prepared for you by God. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7). Paul wrote about the peace that this knowledge can give us.
If you believe then it is very important that you spend time with other believers, as Jesus did when He walked this earth as a man! He often met with other believers and even taught and shared His beliefs at synagogues! Paul wrote about this sharing you can do at a church of your choice, at least on every Sabbath Day. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. (Colossians 3:16). Do not miss the opportunity to mingle with likeminded people, every opportunity you have.
