Be Happy In Jesus!
Philippians 2:1-2 (NIV)
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.
According to the Bible Jesus/God created this universe just thousand years ago, and the creation started with creation of the earth. On the sixth day, He created mankind, and placed them in the Garden of Eden, which was like heaven on the earth. God walked and talked to Adam and Eve, and they were destined to live on the earth forever. Then sin came into this perfect world, and it brought in suffering and death, and this world was cursed.
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself confirmed the doctrine of recent creation. "But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female’.” (Mark 10:6). “At the beginning of the creation [not, that is, four billion years after the solar system evolved] God made them [Adam and Eve] male and female” Thus, those who believe in the geologic ages are rejecting both the biblical record and the authority of Jesus Christ in order to attain ephemeral acceptance by the ungodly. This is a poor exchange!
Paul wrote about a temptation or annoyance that he termed “a thorn in my flesh.” To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10).
Paul is trying to picture for us, the followers of Jesus Christ that we need to put full reliance on Jesus/the Holy Spirit to supply the power we need to be happy in this cursed world by looking forward to being redeemed by the perfect sacrifice that Jesus offered for you (us)! We need to “trust in Jesus” for our salvation, and thus to not relay on our own power in this world. Hopefully, the following will help you (us) overcome “your (our) thorn in our flesh” in this cursed world. Just be happy in Jesus!
Jesus was born of a woman, just like all of us were brought into this world. However, Jesus did not have an earthly father, as we all did. This means that Jesus did not inherit a sinful nature, as we all do from the male sperm, which causes the formation of the fetus, which is then born into this world as either a male or female human being. Thus, when Jesus was born, He was like Adam was before sin and death came into this cursed world.
Therefore, when Jesus Christ died in this mortal world, He did not have a sinful nature to remain in this world and be deposited into this cursed earth! So, after Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He retained the human body that He was born with, and it was then transported back to heaven, and nothing was left on this earth. When we die our sinful nature, and our physical body must remain on this earth, and we, therefore, require a new immortal body to be created to contain our immortal soul, which was also created in our mother womb, as God designed it during the pregnancy.
Paul wrote about this to help us understand the process. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:48-58).
Believe it the Triune God created this universe for mankind to give Him glory forever, and as followers of Jesus Christ you will be given entrance into the new world, which is the new heaven on earth that was once called the Garden of Eden. Jesus went ahead to prepare a place for you in heaven, and when He is ready, you will join Hin in the new Garden of Eden, AKA Heaven!
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." (John 14:1-4). Your place in heaven has been prepared by Jesus, are you ready for the trip?
John wrote to us what he saw about this new earth. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
The room Jesus prepared for you is contained in the ”Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God!” Your room is ready waiting for to come and occupy it. This is not “the end” it is the new beginning. Jesus will come back and take you where He is, when He is ready for you to come!
