All Immortal Life Comes ONLY From God!
Nehemiah 9:6 (NIV)
You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
It seems in the USA today, most people believe it is okay for two consenting individuals to have sexual relations, and if that union results in the woman becoming pregnant, it is okay for her to murder the resulting offspring. This idea is extremely foreign to me, and I do not recognize this country to be the same one I was born into! It is impossible for me to fathom how we have come to have this idea as the main reason for someone to vote for a candidate in the coming election based on this premise! The two major political parties have this heinous proposal as their main plank in the coming election in this once God-fearing country.
The term God-fearing as used here is meant that we as a people hold God in awe, as He is the Creator of all life. If you have ever read the Bible, you should note and hold dear the accounts of God creating mankind as a special creation, and giving them (us) the command to increase in number and fill the earth, which God had created just for mankind to inhabit. This procreation is to be done only by a man and a woman committing to each other be married first, and committing their marriage to be for the rest of their mortal life.
It seems we all need to come to believe that God/Jesus did in fact create this universe from nothing, it did not come about on its own volition, as the evolutionists teach. If we really can believe that the universe has not always exited, and both beliefs agree on that, then the universe was created. As the selected verse indicates, ” You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.” As this verse states all life is given by God, and thus, the life of all unborn human babies MUST be allowed to start only by God’s command, and to take that life by any means is a sinful act!
Creation 101 teaches believers that God created this universe, and He has told us this in the first few lines of the Bible. Note, that the creation account is given in other Old Testament books other than just in Genesis. Here, when Moses was being given the Ten Commandments by God, directly face-to-face, so to speak, the creation account is repeated. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:11).
While this teaching is clear, not hard to understand, it is hard to believe. Such ex nihilo (i.e., out of nothing) creation is so foreign to our experience that it can only be comprehended as God reveals it to us. We are taught that Jesus creative work was finished at the end of the sixth day of the creation week. Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. (Genesis 2:1-4a). This is of course, how we received our weekly timeframe that we all live by. The most important day being the Sabbath Day, on which, all believers should be attending a church of their choice to worship God for our creation, and sustaining.
The writer of Hebrews wrote about how we must believe that only God could create the universe from nothing and that this was done for inhabitance by mankind, as His special creation. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (Hebrews 11:3). This creation from nothing only makes sense if an all-knowing God proposed it. It shows God’s love for us caused Him to create a special place for mankind to live and procreate to fill the earth and to care for it as God’s creation!
Remember, God originally created mankind to live forever in a sinless world. However, when Adam committed that first or original sin the world was cursed. The whole world survives under this curse, but it is no longer a world without end, as God originally designed it. Death came into this world ONLY after Adam sinned, as thus God then required a Savior MUST come into this cursed world to offer salvation based on His perfect sacrifice. This is the ONLY salvation plan God offers for mankind.
Jesus of course came into this world to offer that perfect sacrifice, and thus He is the only Savior needed to allow salvation to all members of mankind that believes this Godly account. God gave all of mankind the Bible with this account given for our study and belief. Jesus lived died and rose again to fulfill the Old Testament accounts, so that we could believe Jesus is the Son of God, and that ONLY He offers a plan of salvation. If evolution is true, then the Creation story in the Bible cannot be true. Which account have you chosen to believe?
Remember too that when Jesus left this earth to go back into heaven, He left the Holy Spirit behind on this cursed world to help people who desire to believe in Him to be able to overcome the desires of this cursed world that will entice our sinful nature to want to believe. Jesus once said, "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor to be with you for ever--the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. (John 14:15-17).
You see that you (we) must be “born again” before this Holy Spirit will be available to indwell you and help you to believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior from this world, and He is the Son of Man and the Son of God! Being born again puts you on that narrow path that leads to heaven, because you have accepted the salvation plan earned by Jesus earthly journey. John wrote about the eternal award of salvation. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives for ever. (1 John 2:17). John tries to make this even clearer for us when he wrote. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. (1 John 5:5).
Believe it, Jesus came into this cursed world to supply the only WAY for any member of mankind to go to heaven when you die! Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life no one goes to heaven except through Him! All immortal life comes ONLY from God!
